Exceptional Children

DIVISION MISSION :: The mission of the N.C. Department of Public Instruction Exceptional Children Division is to ensure that students with disabilities develop intellectually, physically, emotionally, and vocationally through the provision of an appropriate individualized education program in the least restrictive environment.


At Sugar Creek Charter School, the Exceptional Children Department is committed to providing a full continuum of special education and related services to meet the individual needs of students with disabilities.
