Board Meetings are open to the public and are held in the library of the Turner Campus. All meetings have a virtual option. A Zoom link will be posted on this page at 4:00 PM the day of the meeting for the 4:30 PM meeting. Minutes will be posted 24 hours after approval.

Meeting Highlights
- Meeting called to order by Board Chair Matthew Tilley at 4:00 PM.
- Approval of minutes from the previous board meeting; motion carried unanimously.
- Board Chair report: appointment of a classroom teacher approved unanimously following a motion and second.
- Board approved and adopted three revised policies: Due Process for Families, Employee Grievance, and Family Grievance.
- Board reviewed federal school prayer requirements related to federal grants and confirmed there is no policy or practice in place that prevents constitutionally protected prayer.
- Finance Committee Report – Stacy Moultrie: August financials reflected a deficit of $231,602 with federal and county funds not yet collected. A possible budget amendment for enrollment changes was discussed but not acted upon at this brief board meeting.
- Governance Committee Report – Matthew Tilley: Board approved an amendment allowing the board to meet two to three times each year at the High School campus, with December 9, 2025 and March 3, 2026 identified as High School meeting dates.
Regular session ended at 4:08 PM. The Board entered closed session at 4:09 PM to discuss a private personnel matter. The Board meeting adjourned at 4:18 PM.
