Hello Families!
My name is DeVona Barton and I am so excited to learn and grow with your student this school year! I have been a Wildcat for 7 years where I started as Kindergarten assistant for 2 years and I have taught 1st grade for 4. I'm originally from Buffalo, New York but I have been a Charlotte resident since my acceptance into THE Johnson C. Smith University in 2006 which is where I received my B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies. I now reside here in Charlotte with my wonderful husband of 7 years and our three children. I not only serve you as teacher but as a family member who cannot WAIT to see your student reach their highest potential!
