Hi, my name is Mr. Chellis. I've been teaching Elementary Health & PE here at Sugar Creek for the past 8 years. I grew up in Michigan and after graduating from high school I went into the US Army. In the army, I flew Tactical Unmanned Aerial Vehicles on many missions in combat and received numerous rewards for safety and dependability. After over 4 years, with 22 months deployed in Iraq, I left the Army and went to college in Pennsylvania at Slipper Rock University. I graduated with honors for K-12 Health & Physical Education with a minor in Adapted physical Activity. Through college I participated and headed multiple clubs and organizations allowing sports for disabled and able-bodied kids. After I graduated in only 3 years at SRU, I started working at Sugar Creek and bought my house in Kannapolis, I have been living and working in here ever since.
