I am originally from Charlotte, North Carolina (Queen City) where I graduated from Olympic High School. I completed my undergraduate degree at Winston-Salem State University and graduate degree at Gardner-Webb University. I taught grades 3-5 in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools for over 20 years. I am currently an Elementary Language Arts Coach at The Sugar Creek Charter School.
